Ginger in Ayurveda - Ultimate Herb

There is an Indian saying 'There's no tincture without ginger". Ginger root has been used as a medicine and cooking ingredient in India for thousands of years. Most ayurvedic formulations use ginger because practitioners believe it enhances other herbs' healing properties. It is also said that it controls all the three doshas, and hence often termed as an "universal medicine

Ginger: Universal Medicine

Ginger - Ayurveda
Ginger is used so widely in ayurveda that it is an entire medicine chest in itself. There is an ayurvedic sutra (verse) that says that everyone should eat fresh ginger just before lunch and dinner to enhance digestion. Not only does ginger stoke the digestive fire, it whets the appetite, improves assimilation and transportation of nutrients to targeted body tissues, and clears the microcirculatory channels of the body. The few situations in which ginger is contraindicated are in cases of hyperacidity, during any form of hemorrhage (including menstruation), vertigo and chronic skin disease.

Other than in these situations, ginger is an excellent spice that can be used daily.

Traditional ayurvedic texts recommend ginger for therapeutic use for joint pain, motion or airsickness and clearing the microcirculatory channels to facilitate better absorption of nutrients and better elimination of wastes. Modern science, by way of worldwide research, ratifies its effectiveness in preventing motion or airsickness, improving digestion and its pro-analgesic effect on the joints, particularly in early stages of rheumatoid arthritis.

If you can eat raw ginger, a good way to take it is to dip two or three thin slices of ginger in a little salt and limejuice and have them before a main meal.

If you find ginger hard to eat raw or by itself because of its pungent taste, consider adding two or three thin slices to your vegetables or lentils as they cook. Another way to eat ginger is to sauté some grated ginger in a tablespoon of Ghee and add the mixture to warm milk (add sweetener if you like) or desserts or other dishes.

Vitiligo Natural Treatment - Unconventional Methods

Vitiligo is a skin disorder that causes white patches of skin to appear on different parts of the body. Common areas include the body parts most exposed to the sun (such as the hands, face and feet) as well as areas such as the armpits and the genital region. The patches tend to spread, sometimes very slowly over a number of years and sometimes in a matter of days.
Vitiligo affects about 100 million people worldwide. In the United States and Europe, the prevalence is estimated to be about 1% of the population. It affects all races and both genders equally.
Medical treatments for vitiligo are notoriously expensive, ineffective and associated with a high risk of side effects. Unfortunately, this people with this condition are often desperate for a cure, and are willing to pay any price tag, even when they are told about the problems and limitations of the therapies. Every year, the pharmaceutical industry keeps coming up with new, more expensive and still ineffective therapies. And, the profits for the industry keep increasing...
In fact, according to ASDReports.com, in 2011 the vitiligo therapeutics market was estimated to be worth $1.4 billon. By 2019, it is estimated that this market will grow to $2.7 billion, in other words, doubling the profit and this already lucrative niche.
Knowing this, if I had to tell you that there was a way to cure vitiligo naturally, without using any medications, special therapy or surgery... would you be surprised that no doctor is telling you about it? Of course not! In fact, each patient that a doctor treats for vitiligo brings in on average $2,000 to $4,000 yearly, making them one of the most profitable patients to have.
Well, guess what, there is such a cure! And it only involves the use of herbal extracts, vitamin supplementation and some dietary and lifestyle changes.
And that's not all. You see, this is not 'new', or 'cutting-edge' research. Not at all - in fact, medical scientists have published reports about how they cured vitiligo in just a few weeks using only natural extracts and nutrients as early as the 1980s! And again in the 1990s, there were several reports by Swedish doctors about how a single herb and/or vitamin supplementation can halt the spread of vitiligo immediately and cure it completely in a matter of weeks with zero side effects.
Now, you may expect such great findings to make big news right? Not so. You see, the pharmaceutical and medical industry is driven by profits, not benefits to patients. That's why they keep designing drugs that are expensive, of limited effectiveness, and that need to be taken continuously for years. That's the perfect combination for ensuring ever-increasing profits. An example of such shameless profiteering on a large scale is the wide prescription of statins for anyone with even borderline high cholesterol. Statins actually have very limited effectiveness, are associated with a number of side-effects, and... guess what... once a person starts taking them, they will need to keep taking them for their whole lives! Not so surprising is it? Same with vitiligo cures - no medical professional or anyone involved in the industry will want you to discover that you can cure yourself of vitiligo for just a few dollars worth of supplements when they can get you to pay thousands for their "latest technology" therapeutic treatments!
There are several Natural Treatment for Vitiligo available. Fight this disease naturally and effectively. Alternative Medicine might be the way ahead for curing diseases like vitiligo
